October 10 At Sea, South Pacific

October 10 South Seas, near Australia, heading for Sydney, Australia

October 10 At Sea South Pacific heading to Sydney, Australia

Another slow, relaxing start to the day; took a bit of a walk around the ship, and stopped for a coffee. Then we did a little shopping, as this is the final Sea day of this cruise (Leg 1) and they are ‘clearing out’ the merchandise.
We stopped for a cup of tea, and some people-watching!for lunch at the Sushi Specialty Restaurant which was very good and a nice change from the BLU and Dining room.

After a bit of entertainment with that, we went for lunch at the Sushi Speciality Restaurant; food was very good, it’s an ‘a la carte’ restaurant, and we loved it.

There was an afternoon show featuring Clare Langan and her incredible talent on the flute. Wow! This woman can play the flute, and direct the cruise band at the same time!! Loved it!!

Delicious steak dinner in the BLU Restaurant ...

followed by a bit of on board shopping and a brief visit to the casino. We went to our room to pack, as we change rooms tomorrow when Terry arrives. We will have a room and Sharon will have a room to herself!

The evening show in the Theatre featured the cast of the Solstice in their acrobatic show called Euphoria. It was beyond amazing...imagine performing these arial moves while the ship is racing along on rocky seas!! (I might have gone a little crazy with photos with this show...just saying!). So wonderful!!

And then we crashed, tired and ready to see Sydney, Australia at the crack of dawn!! The end to Leg 1 of our 4 Leg journey. It was a wonderful trip, so blessed to share it with my dear friend Sharon! That’s it for the day, more to come, Carol on the go....
