It’s the final day on the Celebrity Solstice! We travelled from Brisbane to Sydney, enjoying and savouring our last day on the ship. We celebrated with a wonderful relaxing day, played the final bingo game and enjoyed the sunshine.

At dinner we took a final photo of the big heart that we walked past each day on our way to dinner. I would like to plant it in our front yard at home, but it’s just too big to transport!!

We hosted a farewell party with all our new Cruise Friends and a good time was held by all! We said a fond farewell to Doug, the 92 year old we ‘adopted’ and helped to celebrate his 92nd birthday, and to Gede, (who took the selfie photo) who was one of our favourite bartender/waiters.

And then we slept soundly, out last of 36 nights on the ship!! More to come....Carol on the go!
